Objetivos
E-PiCo is a 2-year Master programme that offers useful and necessary multidisciplinary topics in the e-mobility field. E-PiCo will provide technical and scientific solutions to the issue of fossil consumption and greenhouse gas emission. It is devised to train students in the field of e-mobility in order to have them work towards ecological transition. It is directly applicable to industry by training future electric propulsion system expert graduates. Through lectures by reputable researchers, practical work on the latest experimental platforms, sessions with industrial specialists, annual workshops, E-PiCo students acquire the most advanced knowledge that will prepare them for the upcoming challenges in e-mobility.
Requisitos
Students must have: a first university degree with the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits in the European system, after at least three years studies, at the level of Bachelor of Science, in a field related to electrical engineering. Applicants must have a good level in Mathematics and be fluent in English - written and spoken. An applicant whose native language is not English is required to pass a recognised international test of English (TEOFL, IELTS, TOEIC or Cambridge Advanced English Test). Winter school
At the end of the first semester, the student will participate in the Winter School. For two weeks, the students will work together in order to complete projects and oral presentations. Several presentations will be given in this period by scholars and industrial guest lecturers.
Spring semester (30 ECTS Credits)
The aim of the second semester is to provide students with a solid background in electric vehicle components:

Fall semester (30 ECTS Credits)
During the S3, more specialised courses are proposed. The programme of this semester is based on the specific research strengths of the partner institutions (thus varying from partner to partner):
Spring semester (30 ECTS Credits)
The fourth semester is devoted to the Master Thesis. Each student is jointly supervised by two advisors from two different institutions. The research topic can be supervised and located in a R&D department of an industrial institution. The research work is finalised through a written dissertation, i.e. the Masters Thesis, which must be done individually and contain an element of original work. The dissertation must be defended in front of a committee of experts. The composition of the committee and the conditions of the oral presentation are communicated to the student at the beginning of the S3.
