2 years in Madrid + 2 year in St. Louis, Missouri, USA The environmental science program focuses on developing a scientific understanding of earth's natural systems and their interconnections with human society. The curriculum is built upon a model that combines a comprehensive background in the natural sciences with specialized training in a chosen area of interest. All students entering the environmental science program are required to complete a core set of preparatory and skill-development courses that provide a rigorous introduction to the environmental sciences. Students then choose a specialized 'track' that provides more advanced instruction in a specific discipline: Atmospheric Science Track, Biology Track, Chemistry Track, and the Geoscience Track. You can complete the first two years of your environmental science degree on the Madrid Campus before transferring to the St. Louis Campus for the final two years. The academic curriculum on the two campuses is completely integrated. In Madrid, you will work with faculty members from across the globe who are committed to excellent teaching, mentoring and scholarship. Beyond the classroom and laboratories, you will be part of an international community of students who come from as many as 65 different countries. You’ll develop your language skills, oral and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities and intercultural awareness.
