Objetivos
The master's degree in Chemistry at the Interface with Biology and Materials Science has been designed as a study programme beyond the classical scientific boundaries. It is aimed at training students in a multidisciplinary environment which will enable them to approach problems and challenges not only in classical Chemistry but also in the fields of Biomedicine and/or Materials Science. The study programme, which meets the standards of excellence and internationality, features an adequate balance between theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in laboratories, which will provide students with an interdisciplinary training on the basics of Chemical Synthesis, Biological Chemistry, Cell Biology, Nanoscience or Materials Science, as well as the state-of-the-art experimental characterisation techniques used in these fields.
Requisitos
Prospective students should hold a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or in another major including training in Chemistry and related to the programme learning objectives (Biology, Pharmacy, Physics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering). The Master's Academic Committee will assess the suitability of other bachelor's degrees based on the general level of candidate's previous education and specific background knowledge. Applicants must prove their knowledge of English (at least CEFR B1 level)
