Tourism is one of the main engines of the world economy, generating employment and welfare for the whole of our society. The companies are in need of well trained professionals to respond the challenges that the sector must face: from digitalization to sustainability and also innovation, responsible and ethical development.
For this reason, it is vital to maintain a high level of quality in the tourism sector, with the support of a university education to provide specialized knowledge - a basis for innovation and growth-, and skilled people to contribute to maintain and improve the levels of competitiveness in the sector.
The Degree in Tourism CETT-UB is a university education approved and fully adapted to the requirements of the new European Higher Education Area (EHEA). From CETT-UB we have been working from the very beginning to achieve the highest degree of adaptability and ease of mobility of students. Given the multidisciplinary nature and numerous opportunities for professional development offered, the Bachelor Degree provides a curriculum that allows different levels of expertise in the field of tourism.

Objetivos
The main objective of the Tourism Degree is to train professionals with the managerial skills needed to hold positions of responsibility in tourism and hospitality companies and institutions, and to innovate in the face of the challenges posed by globalization, sustainability and technological evolution. The Degree also strengthens the personal skills necessary for leading teams and projects in a complex, changing environment.

The degree is addressed to students who are interested in a changing and dynamic sector that allows a wide range of specializations and who are looking to have a multidisciplinary training in: business management, leadership, economics, law, humanities and languages.
